Primal

The drive to one world

is a primal drive

for survival

For revival

of the one cell

before there were two

Somewhere in reduction

we’ve lost the encompassing

of vast differences

and often truths

Now only one truth

can occupy

our one mind

now only one system

can ratchet

our one cause

Now only we

are right

I am wrong

To continue on

in wrong

is against my survival

And that is, after all,

primal.
