I want to chant

but can only rave

without the paper

I should have saved.

No doubt there is

some simple fix

for a balky g.

No doubt they made

the decision

some time ago

for me.

Oh, but for a paper

and a pen, then

I could stand

to lose g,

and h, and i, and j

and still say

what I mean

by pennin’

on paper
